Victoria sponge, Bakewell tarts, coffee and walnut cake, lemon drizzle, meringues, pies, pastries... the list goes on.

Move over Mary Berry, head chef Gemma is probably the best cake maker never to have appeared on the Great British Bake-Off.

Whether you are after a midmorning pastry to go with your coffee, a scrummy flapjack to give you energy to walk the coast, or an indulgent slice of sponge to celebrate life – you will find it all here, and not a soggy bottom in sight.

Cakes, pastries, pies and quiches. Olives, peppers, charcuterie, sun-dried tomatoes. No, this is not a shopping list for the best picnic ever, this is just a snapshot of the foodie delights that are on offer at the Thornham Deli cafe.

Our cakes are home-made; our bread is baked just around the corner and our cheeses, meats and other goodies are sourced locally wherever possible.

To wash it all down we have a range of soft drinks from local orchards, some fantastic wines chosen by our resident wine expert and a wide range of craft beers, all produced by local brewers, using the barley that grows across the Norfolk countryside.
  Ordering food at Thornham Deli

Thornham Deli began life as a small food counter serving delicious, locally-sourced produce. While we have grown into a destination akin to the cool and trendy coffee and design outlets of Shoreditch and Portobello Road, at our core, we remain committed to our foodie traditions.

We pride ourselves on serving locally-sourced, top quality, artisan produced food. Whether you are eating in our restaurant/cafe, buying prepared food for a picnic or sourcing ingredients for a sumptuous home-cooked meal, we are here to help.

Our kitchen staff, led by head chef Gemma, take enormous pride in serving the best food and we take equal pride in showcasing the best produce from our area.
