It’s all about Scotland in the Deli this January as we join forces with Glebe House School to put on a fabulous Burns Night Party on 27 January.
 
Chef Gemma and her team have put together a fantastic Burns Night menu with a host of treats, including Scottish smoked salmon, Haggis, Scotch Broth, neeps and tatties and a Cranachan dessert.

Once you have finished eating, you will have the chance to don your dancing shoes, follow a Scottish piper across to the Village Hall and join in the After Party – an evening of Ceilidh dancing.

It’s the start of a new year and as usual we are looking forward to another busy 12 months. But, just as you were expecting a monologue of all that will be happening in the Deli in the coming weeks and months, we have decided to take a few minutes out to talk about something that is very dear to our hearts here in Thornham Deli – health and fitness.

We also know just how difficult it can be sometimes to get out and about – work, family commitments, the weather – they all conspire to stop us getting the exercise we should. So here are some top tips for ways to get fit and active despite the obstructions that so often cross our paths.
